ChorusTrail LLC Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

ChorusTrail LLC connects creators with artists, labels, and their teams for music-promotion campaigns. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with https://chorustrail.com, applications, campaign communications, and related services. It applies to creators, clients, and other people who contact us.

2. Information we receive

Creator applications ask for names, email addresses, social media handles or profile links, follower ranges, content styles, self-reported age ranges, and confirmations about age, profile ownership, terms, and email preferences. Applicants may also provide a city, state or territory, and referral code.

Client inquiries may include a name, email, artist or company, role, song or release link, release date, budget range, campaign goals, audience, preferred platforms, creator count, timing, usage and approval preferences, and other campaign details. We also receive information people send us in messages.

Campaign records may include instructions, participation responses, content links, public engagement metrics, referral details, and payment or payout status. Information comes from you, campaign participants, relevant public social profiles or posts, and providers involved in the activity. Website and signup-source information is described in Section 7.

Please do not send passwords, full bank or card numbers, tax identification numbers, or identity documents through ordinary messages or signup forms.

3. How we use information

We use information to review applications and inquiries, maintain the creator roster, communicate about opportunities, coordinate campaigns, evaluate content and results, administer payments and eligible referrals, provide support, and improve our services. We use age confirmations and ranges for eligibility review and roster planning, not as independent proof of age. We also use relevant records for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, enforcing agreements, and legal obligations.

Campaign and payment communications or processing may be automated. Contact us if a record or automated result appears incorrect.

4. Storage, Stripe, and other providers

We store information submitted through our forms using third-party cloud storage and business recordkeeping services. Our creator contact list is not used to store full bank or card numbers, tax IDs, or identity documents. Information processed directly by hosting or payment providers is separate from our submitted-information records.

When client payments or creator payouts are handled through Stripe, including automation where configured, Stripe may collect financial, tax, or identity information directly as required for its services. We may receive payment references, amounts, statuses, and other information available through the Stripe service used. Stripe explains its practices at https://stripe.com/privacy.

We may use service providers for hosting, storage, communications, analytics, and payment processing. Depending on the service used, these providers process relevant information to supply their services and may also have their own privacy terms.

5. When information is shared

We share information with personnel, contractors, and providers involved in operating our services. Campaign clients may receive relevant creator profiles, content, participation details, and results, not access to our entire creator contact list. We do not sell that list or publish it as a public directory.

Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, as required by law, to address fraud or disputes, with your authorization, or in a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. Public social posts remain subject to the social platform's settings and practices.

6. Email and your choices

We use email for application responses, campaign opportunities, coordination, payments, support, and service notices. Creator participation requires a working email address for these communications. Optional promotional updates are a separate signup choice.

You may opt out of marketing email through its unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us. Necessary messages about an existing campaign, payment, or legal matter may still be sent. We receive the messages you send us and may maintain communication and delivery records supplied by our email services.

7. Website technology and signup sources

Our website includes provider-supplied analytics and performance monitoring. Website providers process technical information, such as connection details, IP addresses, browser requests, page visits, and performance measurements, to deliver the site and understand its usage and operation.

Submitted forms include the page path and any campaign-source tags in the signup link. Referral codes and source information may be used to understand signups, evaluate outreach, and administer eligible referrals. Depending on the service used, hosting or payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, security, or fraud prevention. Browser settings can limit cookies and storage, which may affect features. Additional notices and choices apply where required by law.

8. Security

No website, email, storage system, or payment service is completely secure. We cannot guarantee against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure, including through third-party systems. This policy does not warrant any particular security technology. Section 13 addresses applicable responsibilities and limitations.

9. Retention

Retention depends on the record, its business purpose, ongoing campaigns, accounting and legal requirements, fraud concerns, and disputes. We may retain records reasonably needed for those purposes, including after participation ends, subject to applicable law. Deletion is not necessarily immediate or complete where a lawful exception applies. Provider-held information may have separate retention requirements.

10. Privacy requests

Contact rhett@chorustrail.com to request access, correction, or deletion. Applicable law may also provide rights to a portable copy, to restrict or object to certain uses, to withdraw consent, or to appeal. We may verify your identity or authority and apply legally permitted exceptions, including protecting another person's information. Legal response deadlines still apply; this section does not create rights beyond those the law requires.

11. Adults only

Creators must be 18 or older and provide accurate age and identity information. Initial registration relies on applicant confirmations; additional checks may be required. A false statement does not waive applicable legal protections or duties. Contact us if you believe a minor has registered so the matter can be reviewed and addressed.

12. Independent services and policy updates

Independent social platforms and linked services follow their own privacy practices. A link is not a warranty of their conduct. Providers may process information outside your state or country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page and post the new version here. To the extent permitted by applicable law, your continued use of ChorusTrail after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy. We will provide additional notice or obtain affirmative consent before implementing changes where required by law, including applicable changes involving previously collected information. Continued use does not replace any required consent.

13. Terms and contact

Where you have accepted our Terms of Service, their warranty exclusions, liability cap, exceptions, and dispute provisions govern covered claims to the extent enforceable. This policy does not increase that cap or create a separate financial guarantee. Neither third-party terms nor these limitations excuse ChorusTrail's legal duties for information it handles or waive mandatory privacy rights. The Terms do not bind regulators or people who have not agreed to them.
